A drive around the west coast of Mahé , taking in some of the picturesque bays is a great idea, or over Sans Souci, the Tea Plantations, and the capital, Victoria

Why not try the Botanical Gardens, where you can see the famous "Coco De Mer" growing, and also see the Giant Tortoises.

And it does not stop there. You can visit the north west coast, Beau Vallon, probably the best beach on Mahé, plus many other other fine beaches, such as Grand Anse, Anse Takamaka, and Anse Intendance

Whilst still on Mahé, you could try Glass bottom boat trip in the Marine National Park; or a Helicopter trip over the island

Seychelles-travel-uk.co.uk is your guide to information and booking resources for an island paradise. The beautiful Seychelles islands are amongst the most romantic places in the world. They will amaze every visitor with their crystal blue seas, pristine coral reefs and soft sandy beaches, contrasting with their huge granite rocks and lush green rainforest.

The islands occupy nearly one million square kilometres of the Indian Ocean east of Kenya. Only a few of the 115 islands are inhabited, with most of most of the local population on the main island, Mahé and the capital city of Victoria.

We include the popular island of Praslin, about 20 miles north east of Mahé, which is a popular stop for cruise ships, and is ideal for honeymoon couples and beach connoisseurs. The most popular beach, Anse lazio, is its best. But there are many other small, secluded beaches with crystal clear waters.

Though Mahé itself is very populated and well-developed, there are still many beaches, fine peaks and plenty if stunning mountain scenery ideal for walking and hiking.
